Arab Women Leadership Academy (AWLA) Curriculum Development
Promoting the Voice and Leadership of Women (PVLW) Tawazon is a USAID-funded, five-year initiative led by Mercy Corps in partnership with the Arab Renaissance for Democracy and Development (ARDD), Al Jidara, Solidarity is Global Institute (SIGI), and Plan International. The primary objective of PVLW is to foster transformative change by enhancing womens voice and leadership. This includes strengthening legislative frameworks, enforcing relevant legislation, building institutional capacity among stakeholders, promoting inclusive social norms, and removing barriers to womens participation and leadership. As a key partner, ARDD is responsible for designing and delivering the leadership capacity-building program, named the Arab Women Leadership Academy (AWLA). The goal of AWLA is to enhance the leadership competencies and opportunities of 500 Jordanian women across the country. ARDD commissioned Dajani Consulting to develop the leadership program, which consists of three phases: the training phase (17 training days), the coaching phase (4 group coaching sessions), and the networking phase. A team of developers and trainers from Dajani Consulting designed the curriculum and then conducted a Training of Trainers (TOT) workshop in preparation for delivering the training program for women.
Human Resources Management and Enterprise Governance System Development
Dajani Consulting implemented an organizational development project for Ideal Trading Group (ITG), funded by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in Jordan. ITG operates in the field of fire alarm systems and other low-voltage security systems. The company employs around 30 staff members with diverse expertise and skills. The consulting team provided a range of services, including HR gap analysis, organizational structure review and restructuring, definition of roles and responsibilities, job analysis, job descriptions, review and update of HR policies and procedures, development of a performance appraisal mechanism, and training on the new human resource management (HRM) procedures.
Functional Review of Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources – Redesign / Update the Organizational Structure
Dajani Consulting was contracted to assess the current organizational structure of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. The assessment included the following tasks: 1. Evaluating the current organizational structure. 2. Identifying the root causes of organizational performance-related issues. 3. Updating the organizational structure based on the findings. 4. Implementing and evaluating the new organizational structure for the ministry.
Organizational Restructuring, Realignment, Simplification & Human Resources Development for Jordan Association of Family Planning and Protection
The assessment included re-engineering processes and creating a human resources management system. The main objective of this study was to increase the productivity of the Jordanian Association for Family Planning and Protection (JAFPP) staff and improve the utilization of clinic capacity through the following goals: 1. Reducing waiting times during both routine and emergency visits. 2. Serving and accepting a higher number of clients on a daily basis. 3. Identifying standard times for each of JAFPPs services. 4. Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for processes in terms of time and resources. 5. Improving the quality of healthcare services at the clinic. To achieve these objectives, the study proposed several ideas, which were then used by JAFPP to better manage its services and gain a clearer vision of the potential for service expansion. The project began with an analysis of the current situation, including processes, time taken to serve clients seeking various services, customer arrival processes, and customer satisfaction. Three clinics—Rusayfa, Irbid 1, and Mahatta—were selected for the study. Three consultants collected information using various tools, including business process mapping, time and motion studies, questionnaires, and Gantt charts.
Business Process Improvement for Jordan Ceramics
As part of the increased competition in the ceramics industry, Jordan Ceramics sought our assistance in revising the process workflow to minimize waste and improve efficiency. The goal was to enhance the overall workflow process. This project was funded by the BST EU/Project.
Business Process Improvement for El Zay Textile Manufacturing
The EU-Jordan trade agreement has posed several challenges for Jordanian enterprises, requiring them to compete with European products in both the local and regional markets. El-Zay Ready Wear, the largest manufacturer of mens suits in Jordan, faced intense competition from imported European products, which led to their decision to improve production operations. Dajani Consulting provided El-Zay with professional services, which included the following tasks: • Studying the manufacturing process for mens suits. • Identifying the current production process and methodology to improve quality and efficiency. • Identifying new production technologies to enhance the quality level. • Identifying the optimal production flow and layout for the new factory, based on future technology and capacity requirements. • Providing a training course on production management. • Conducting training on design control techniques and new methodologies in garment design.
Business Process Re-engineering of Municipal Services for Launching of a Automated Services Package at Al Madina Al Munawwara Municipality in KSA
Al Madina Al Munawwara Municipality aims to become a leader in providing online automated services to its stakeholders and the local community. Dajani Consulting was tasked with restructuring over 63 services as the first package offered by the Municipality in Saudi Arabia. The project involved documenting the current ("AS IS") situation for all selected services and restructuring them to the improvement stage ("TO BE") in preparation for computerization and automation. Dajani Consulting provided a team leader and a professional team of five consultants and engineers to carry out the work at the municipality, in coordination with the Project Management Office (PMO).
Application and Automation of National Registry for Capital Lease Contracts
When the Capital Lease Registrar was first established in Jordan, it operated entirely manually. The goal of the project was to improve the current procedures of the registrar and automate the system. The project objectives were to implement the application and automation of the Capital Lease Registry at the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Central Register Directorate, as part of the e-government initiative adopted by the Government of Jordan. Additional objectives included reviewing and recommending future improvements for the current leasing laws in Jordan to make them more attractive to leasing companies and operators. The project also involved analyzing the existing legislation and registry, conducting system analysis, designing an automated system and database, programming, and assisting in the operation of the computerized application.
Development of Employees Performance Appraisal / Jordan Valley for Food Industries Company
Jordan Valley is one of the leading manufacturers of canned food in Jordan. Despite their success in the food industry, they face strong competition from other locally and regionally produced brands. To enhance the performance of their employees, the company decided to implement a performance appraisal system. This system was developed for the 60 employees at the company, with the aim of improving overall employee performance and contributing to the companys continued success.
HR System for Nippon Jordan Fertilizer Company
As part of the restructuring process at Nippon Jordan Fertilizer Company, Dajani Consulting was hired to conduct a comprehensive diagnostic assessment of the existing human resource system. Based on the findings, a new human resource system was developed, which included elements such as incentives, a salary scale, performance appraisal, competency assessment, job descriptions, recruitment processes, and other components essential for improving the HR framework.
